What Do We Charge?

Annual Financial Planning Fee Structure

Portfolio size refers to all accounts over which Capital Area Planning Group, LLC has discretion. These typically include brokerage accounts, trusts, IRAs, small company 401(k)s, and 529s.

Our services are best suited for those with investible assets of at least $1,000,000.

Fee tiers are applied proactively. For example, a household that starts at $800,000 and grows to $1,000,000 will receive and lock in the lower fee once the threshold is crossed.

Who might prefer this alternative fee structure?

  • Business owners who prefer to pay for financial planning through their operating account.

  • Someone whose company reimburses them for the cost of financial planning as an executive benefit.

  • Anyone who hasn't yet accumulated enough in investible assets to reach the firm's $1,000,000 minimum
